Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between askGEO ("we", "us", or "our") and the client or organization ("Client" or "you") commissioning services through https://askgeo.site.
1. Service Offerings & Scope
askGEO provides Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) consulting, crawlability audits, structured data generation (JSON-LD), and product copy rewrites specifically engineered for AI search discovery (including OpenAI ChatGPT, Perplexity AI, Google AI Overviews, and Claude).
Our standard deliverable, the AI Visibility Audit + Rewrite Package ($397 USD), includes:
- A comprehensive technical crawlability review (robots.txt, crawler access, sitemap integration).
- Live query testing across active AI models to evaluate baseline brand citability.
- Full rewrites of up to ten (10) agreed product pages into citable, entity-dense, answer-shaped copy.
- Drop-in JSON-LD schema snippets (Product and FAQPage schemas) and recommended
llms.txtmarkup. - An executive findings report summarizing identified gaps and implementation instructions.
2. Client Authority & Product Data
By requesting an audit or commissioning services, you represent and warrant that you are the lawful owner, officer, or authorized representative of the e-commerce store submitted for analysis. You grant askGEO permission to inspect your public catalog feeds (e.g. /products.json, sitemaps, and robots.txt) for the purpose of compiling audit deliverables.
3. Transparent Performance Disclaimer
askGEO guarantees the technical accuracy, schema compliance, and answer-engine extraction readiness of all delivered code and rewritten copy.
However, because generative search engines (Google, OpenAI, Perplexity, Anthropic) utilize proprietary, non-deterministic language models and autonomous crawler schedules, askGEO does not and cannot guarantee placement, exact phrasing, or specific citation frequency in any third-party AI answer engine.
4. Fees & Payment Terms
Deliverables are invoiced as fixed-fee engagements. Invoices are issued upon contract confirmation and are payable prior to final code handoff unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept electronic bank transfers, multi-currency corporate payments (USD, GBP, EUR), and recognized card processors.
5. Intellectual Property Rights
Upon receipt of full payment, all customized product copy rewrites, structured schema files, and customized documentation created specifically for your store become your exclusive intellectual property. askGEO retains ownership of underlying proprietary auditing scripts, methodology, and frameworks.
6. Confidentiality
Both parties agree to hold non-public commercial and technical information disclosed during the engagement in strict confidence. We do not publish client names, unreleased product data, or financial metrics without prior written consent.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, askGEO's total aggregate liability arising out of or related to this agreement shall not exceed the total fees actually paid by the Client to askGEO for the specific service giving rise to liability.
8. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with standard international commercial law. Any disputes arising out of these Terms shall first be addressed through good-faith executive mediation.
